I mean, I did pass the obstacle course, it just wasn't pleasant.
There are some quests that you have to complete in one sitting but generally for a quest with multiple parts to complete, each completion is recorded in my experience. The obstacle course is hard but it is doable. I play using an XBox controller on my PC. From experience I think you can stay idle for 20 minutes before it starts to kick you out so just wiggle the mouse/controller every now and again. Keep in mind you can always do the wait & wiggle trick to stay in world. Drove me crazy.Īnyway without spoiling anything another faction will have you do the same quest so you might as well get it out of the way now. I had something similar happen with a later quest with random disconnects. (which, since I have an infant daughter, is regularly) Instead, I found myself back before even putting on the fatigues, which meant having to redo the obstacle course. I saved and exited, and then went back in hoping for the script to fix. Is it normal for quests to reset if you don't complete them before exiting? The basic training quest has reset on me multiple times, once because the "live fire" exercise bugged out and didn't release the "commie" robots.
